Obviously Tony Malone is still alive. Others I know of are John Carleton, Ernie Ruddock conductor of CWA,Ken McDowell who went into singing and became one of Belfasts great rhythm and blues singers. I am certain Billy Hughes is still alive. I joined in 1959 as a learner and most of these players were still in the band

Billy Hughenden is alive and well. Bumped into him at a recent Festival Brass concert.
